From Handy the THLC29140 compactor plate is powered by a Loncin 4 stroke petrol engine. This machine will allow you to compact to a depth of 200mm with a force of 861kg the maximum gradient for this machine is 20 degrees. Great performance and excellent value, as you would expect from Handy. Also available is an optional wheel kit, and paving pad.

Enjoy a hefty 861kg compaction-force and an extended 90-minute one-tank run-time with this compact and easily manoeuvrable petrol-powered compactor-plate from Handy! It's driven by a super-efficient 87cc four-stroke engine and can achieve a working-depth of 20cm.

Designed to prepare the ground for patio-laying, extension-building and landscaping, the Handy THLC29140 Petrol Compactor-Plate is a compact and easy-handling machine ideal for both commercial and domestic applications.

Supplying a beefy 2.8hp from a cylinder-displacement of just 87cc is a Loncin LC154F engine; a premium-grade four-stroke unit with a cast-iron cylinder-sleeve, metal cam and forged-steel connector for rock-solid long-term reliability; and an OHV configuration for a marked cut in noise, vibration, carbon-emissions and fuel-costs.

A transistor-type ignition works to minimise fuel-consumption on start-up; while a low-oil alert system protects the engine by automatically shutting it down when the reservoir's running dry.

Another key engine-feature is the roomy 1.6-litre petrol-tank that delivers an extended 1.5-hour run time on a single fill.

The Handy THLC29140 Petrol Compactor-Plate exerts a huge 8200N (861kg) on the ground-surface and operates down to a substantial 20cm.

It offers a sizeable 30cm working-width and moves at 25 metres per-minute, so you can expect impressive productivity; and it's fitted with a comfortable soft-grip handlebar which can be collapsed for convenient transport and storage.

This model can handle inclines up to 20 degrees and can be paired-up with an optional wheel-kit for enhanced manoeuvrability.

This machine is aimed at small private projects, it is not aimed at professional heavy duty work or users. It is a good machine but the price reflects that it is not a Belle or similar.

A brilliant attachment works a treat. My two items bought together are a great buy I would recommend to anyone DO NOT HIRE - BUY IT - I only wish I had bought the wheels !!!!!! maybe next time ..
