Weedstick+ Handheld No-Drift Herbicide Applicator
Weedstick Handheld No-Drift Herbicide Applicator. The hand-held Weedstick+ is a precision applicator for the selective application of herbicides to individual weeds. It puts weedkiller precisely where it is needed on the weed. There is no risk of any spray drift so you can even use it on windy days.
The Weedstick+ has significant advantages over conventional methods of application such as knapsack sprayers for spot applications or using herbicides in sensitive areas e.g. flower beds.
The Weedstick+ is simply placed over the weed to be controlled and pressed down to dab a dose of herbicide.
Use the Weedstick+ when the ground is moist and the weeds are growing well. The ideal time for treatment is between late spring and late summer.

1. Safety
Always read the label before using any herbicide and follow the safety instructions. The operator must wear suitable protective clothing when using the Weedstick
2. Filling
The Weedstick+ is recommended for use with glyphosate-based products such as Roundup. For best results use a 1:2 (Roundup: water) dilution ratio. For example, to fully fill the tube dilute one part of Roundup (150ml) in two parts of water (300ml). The inlet is located at the top end of the stick. To open it, twist the filler cap anticlockwise. Hold the stick with the sponge pointing downwards and pour the mixed solution into the tube. Ensure you wear suitable protective equipment during mixing and filling. To close the stick, reposition the filler cap and twist it clockwise; the Weedstick+ is now ready to use.
3. Operation
When operating, hold the Weedstick+ vertically. Press the sponge down a few times against the ground surface; this will open the valve inside the sponge so that the liquid can pass into it. Dab each weed for up to two or three times. It is not necessary to apply the liquid to the whole of the weed. For the treatment to be effective, the chemical requires at least 4-6 hours of dry weather. The results should be visible after 7-14 days, depending on weather conditions.
4. Cleaning
Unscrew the sponge from the stick by gently turning it anticlockwise (with the sponge pointing upwards) and wash it in a bucket of water. Ensure you wear suitable protective equipment. For best results, squeeze the sponge a few times and rinse it again. Never clean the sponge under running water!
