STIGA patented Direct Drive technology
The whole design and functionality of the STIGA Gyro axial mower is built on the unique STIGA Direct Drive technology. Dual independent electric transmissions, one for each wheel, positioned in line and equipping powerful brushless electric motors with planetary gearbox, meaning: highest reduction ratio, therefore the highest efficiency. Up to 360° turning radius for full manoeuvrability.
STIGA drive-by-wire joystick
Intuitive and easy to manage, especially for those who are used to a lever-operated machine. The whole driving system is extremely reactive and allows to govern the machine's direction, steering and speed in one. The constant communication between the joystick and the machine’s electronic brain (STIGA Vehicle management system) makes driving smooth, easy and safe.
You are in control
Choose from one of three STIGA Smart cutting modes and between three Smart driving modes, including Performance at a top speed of 11 km/h; you decide how to work, depending on your needs and the cut to be done.
Designed for safety & stability
Thanks to a very well-studied weight distribution, Gyro grants optimum stability, both for pitch and roll (also on slopes up to 15°). Plus, the electronics of the machine automatically manage speed limitations when on slopes.
