This powerful weed burner makes light work of keeping your garden or drive clear from weeds. Moving to a new area is made easy with the included gas bottle trolley. Featuring 1300 Degree Flame, Variable Trigger, and Push Button Piezo Ignition. The kit includes the wand, trolley and Regulator.
This high quality weed burner makes killing weeds simple. The long arm means less bending down and the trolley makes it easy to move around. The piezoelectric ignition makes it easy to light every time. The igniter button is by the handle so it is safe to light without your hands needing to go near the burner.
Move between weeds / areas without needing to relight each time. A pilot light means no relighting. While making it safer to use, this also saves gas by only having the maximum flame when you need it.
With sturdy steel construction, the trolley can securely hold Propane gas bottles from 6 kg to 20 kg. Large wheels with needle roller bearings make it easy to move around on any surface. The gas bottle is cradled by two support arms and secured to the trolley with chains. The securing chain length can simply be adjusted to accommodate different bottle sizes.
Recommended Accessory: For use for longer periods of time you may wish to add the optional arm support accessory. This makes it more comfortable for extended use.

A different regulator can be used if you want to match it to an existing gas bottle with a different fitting. Regulators need to be 2.5 Bar to work with this burner.
USAGE TIP: The process of burning the weeds is ideally done over two sessions: first lightly singe the weeds to damage cell structure and then go back in a few days when it's dried out and finish them off. Doing it this way will save a lot of gas. We recommend wearing protective gloves and eyewear when using this tool.

The purchase process was simple and the product supplied is exactly what I needed and has now been used on four different dats to clear significant weed growth in a wall. It was a lttle more expensive than I had originally planned but fast delivery and ease of assembly (plus useful video of the assembly and use) made up for that.

As an amateur lady gardener in my seventies I found it very easy to construct trolley having watched your YouTube video. So glad I purchased as I wouldn’t be able to lug the bottle round my garden. Burner made shortshrift of the tall weeds in my pavour driveway but needed two burnings. Three weeks later I have regrowth but having equipment to tackle them early am hoping they will give up overtime. ready to go again and not daunted by the process. Handy trigger release function, flame reverts to pilot when you let go; good safety feature for when moving trolley around garden. Confidence in the quality of the hose, initially felt it could have been longer but not needed with trolley being easy to manoeuvre. Great kit, fun/easy to use and no toxic chemicals.

I thought I would try this flame weeder to reduce the use of chemicals. I have been using it for a few weeks now on a gravel drive and so far I am not yet convinced how effective it is but will persevere. The Sherpa weeder is ok but not well designed. The clip that is included in the kit to hold the torch is too big to grip the torch ( I have replaced it with a smaller one) and I had to move the piezo lighter as it was too low to fit in the clip. I have fitted a 6kg gas bottle but the balance of the trolley is all wrong as it goes too much over the centre balance point on the wheels which makes it awkward to manoeuvre. It needs an additional foot to hold it more upright. (See photo with and without it sitting on wooden blocks) Also it could really do with some sort of hook or hose storage arrangement as the gas tube just ends up piled up on the gas bottle. Lastly be aware that the tube needs replacing every 5 years which was not mentioned in the product description. Would I recommend it? Only just but only because there doesn’t seem to be any other better product out there at a sensible price. Mower Magic were helpful and although the flame weeder was initially out of stock they kept me informed of when it would be in stock and delivery which was a several weeks.

Effective at drying out then subsequently carbonising weeds. However this method does not appear to kill the roots and prevent further growth.

The burner is very effective and weeds once treated do not seem to return. The flame has sufficient intensity to make pea shingle explode like popcorn so advisable to wear eye protection. Only two negative comments - a 19kg propane bottle is putting the trolly bracket (which is only secured by two small bolts) under almost intolerable strain. I am intending to weld an additional cross member to the frame before a stress fracture appears. Smaller bottles will be fine. And finally the regulator is high pressure POL type which means the quick release Patio Gas bottles cannot be used with this item despite them also being propane. Annoying as I had to buy another bottle despite having two of the other ones available.

I’m very pleased with the weed burner. I bought a propane cylinder from a local supplier to use with it. The trolley makes it quick and easy to manoeuvre. I killed the weeds on my driveway and back garden path, which took about one hour. I estimate it would have taken about 30 hours to do the same weeding by hand. I wish I had bought one years ago.

It works well and looks like it will last, unlike a lot of things that fall apart after 6 months. Quite easy to use although it takes a long time on dense patches of weeds. Preferable to chemicals but still using gas, so not that green.
