So it is disappointing to have unschedualed downtime, either due to breakdown, repair or service - often coupled with a large bill, especially if the machine is out of warranty.

Which is why we have introduced Robot Service Plans. Available for machines both In- and Out-of Warranty, simply pay a small amount each month that will cover the cost of a Yearly Service, transport costs and give a discount on Spare Parts.

Robot Service Plan Terms and Conditions


Please read description in service plan menu for the features of your chosen service plan.

1. Reporting Issue
Issues should be reported by emailing robotworkshop@mowermagic.co.uk We will only accept the issue as being reported when we receive an email which includes information regarding the issue. Telephone calls are for support and are not for logging faults you must do this in writing via email. Issues that result in your robot not being able to carry out its designed functions, should be reported as soon as possible, were there has been a significant period from when the robot ceased to operate and you reporting the issue, we will not be responsible for any grass cutting required to make your lawn suitable for use of your robot mowers return.

2. Customer Obligations
Customers should carryout regular general maintenance of equipment as laid out in manufactures instructions, ensure that the lawn is free from items that may cause damage to the robot mower, and take any necessary steps to prevent damage or misuse. We reserve the right to terminate this contract if your obligations are not upheld.

3. Breakdown Following Service Cover
We will provide the necessary shipping & labour time require to resolve malfunction issues with your robot mower immediately after completion of annual service for a limited period, Advanced Mature Plan: 4 weeks or 80 mowing hours whichever comes first.

Exclusions:
This cover does not include any Parts required to repair a robot (unless under manufacturer's warranty) or covered Robots for damage in transit or failures due to misuse.

Battery related breakdowns and motors with over 4000 hours of operation are also excluded from breakdown cover. However, we will offer a discounted parts & free fitting of these parts should they fail directly after a service in the above time scales.

Base Stations and Power supplies are also excluded from all service plans.
Perimeter wire and installation related faults are excluded from service plan cover.

4. Payment
For monthly subscriptions you must have paid for a full 12 months before qualifying for the yearly overhaul of your robot mower. If you break the contract by non-payment before reaching the full 12-month period, your robot will not receive this service until remaining balance is paid including any additional admin fees. Before entering the service plan your robot is required to have received a full annual service within 7 days of the contract start date.


5. Damage & Misuse
Product faults or malfunctions caused by the following examples will not be covered under this service plan or any other manufacturers warranty or guarantee: misuse, negligence, tampering, alteration or modification, pressure or hose washing, water ingress. Repairs required in these cases will be quoted and charged at the standard rate.

6. Force Majeure
Mower Magic Ltd will not be liable or responsible for any failure to perform service & Repair related duties, or delay in performance of, any of its obligations under these Terms relating to events outside its reasonable control such as acts of God, fire, flood, severe weather, pandemics, explosions, war (whether declared or not), acts of terrorism, industrial disputes (whether or not involving its employees), shipping delays or acts of local or central government or of any other competent authorities, as well as other force majeure events pursuant to applicable UK law.

7. Liability
Mower Magic Ltd liability under these terms is limited to the price paid by the customer to Mower Magic Ltd and solely for the related service plan purchased.

8. Consumer Rights and cancellation.
Nothing in these Terms shall in any way exclude statutory rights a consumer may have. Consumer protection law may give the Customer the right to withdraw from the acceptance of these Terms during the cooling off period of fourteen (14) days from acceptance. To exercise the right of withdrawal, the Customer shall inform Mower Magic Ltd of its decision to withdraw by notifying Mower Magic Ltd in writing by email no later than the 14th day after the contract started, At this point no money will have been taken and the Direct Debit will be cancelled before anything is collected.

Cancellation After 14 days: You can cancel your service plan at any time by informing Mower Magic Ltd in writing by email, however no refund of any monies paid will be given for a midterm cancellation and no features of the service plan can be claimed. (Do not Cancel an existing Direct Debit instruction before informing Mower Magic Ltd and receiving an acknowledgment as charges may apply).

Should the discontinuation of spare parts by the manufacturer of your robot prevent us from servicing or performing essential repairs to your product, the full value of the payments already made under that year's service plan maybe used as credit value against the purchase of a new replacement Robotic mower and the service plan will be cancelled. A new service plan can be started for the replacement robot if requited.
