The Mountfield SP555R V lawn mower is a self propelled rear roller mower designed for large areas of lawn. The large diameter steel rear roller gives a classic striped effect to the lawn and up-to-the-edge cutting. This is a premium mower with an eye-watering 53cm cutting width, all powered by a powerful Honda GCVx170 OHV Autochoke engine.

The wide rear roller not only gives a classic striped finish, it also provides stability and up-to-the-edge cutting. This premium self propelled mower also features a variable speed gearbox with a speed range between 3.3 and 5.1 km/h.
The Mountfield SP555RV lawnmower has 8 preset cutting heights ranging from 18 - 65mm and is operated by a single lever making it easy to select the appropriate finish for your lawn. It also comes supplied with a large 65 litre grass bag.
A 4 speed change-on-the-move transmission allows the forward speed to be adjusted to suit working conditions, whilst the self propelled feature ensures ease of use. The engine powers the blades and the rear roller, so you don't have to push the mower.
It is powered by a 167cc Honda GCVx170 recoil start engine with autochoke. This Air-cooled 4-stroke OHC engine will provide you with more than enough power to complete any task easily and quickly.
The 53cm cutting width on this top of the range rear roller mower makes it suitable for more substantial gardens up to 55m x 55m.
Fitted with innovative new cutting technology - a Twinclip blade with four cutting surfaces instead of two that makes tackling the grass an effortless task while leaving a finish that is comparable to a cylinder mower. The first cutting edge of the Twinclip blade reduces the initial length of the grass with the second cutting edge reducing the finished length down to the desired height. The extra finely cut clippings are then blown into the 80 litre collector typically leading to an increase in collecting performance of around 20%.
