From Mountfield, the MM2605 is a versatile system, which comes with enough tools to cover most popular jobs around the garden. The MM2605 combines a Tap & Go nylon head, metal blade, hedge trimmer, pole pruner and extension shaft all into one package.
The Mountfield MM2605 Multi-Tool is lightweight and easy to use. Powering the whole system is a 2-stroke 25cc Mountfield Powerhead.
The MM2605 is supplied with a 25cm Chainsaw Pruning Head - great for cutting those branches back.
The most popular tool is probably the 40cm Reciprocating Hedge Trimming Head - this will cut hedge growth up to 20mm in diameter.
The extension shaft makes it a must for anyone with high hedges or trees to prune.
The brushcutter is also supplied complete with a Tap N'go nylon line head, which allows you to renew the line as it wears merely by tapping the auto-feed line head on the ground when the machine is in use . A 3-tooth metal blade is also supplied, and is ideal for trimming rougher areas which may include weeds as well as grass.. Perfect for all those jobs in the garden
The versatile 5 in 1 Multi-Tool is powered by a two-stroke engine. After mixing petrol and oil at a ratio of 40:1, the only head-scratching will be deciding which tool to fix and use first.
You have a choice: use the Tap & Go nylon head for grass trimming; the 3 toothed metal blade for cutting those scratchy brambles and other rough vegetation; trim up your hedges with the 43cm hedge trimmer dual action laser cut blades; use the 25cm pole pruner chainsaw head to clear a few low branches or fit the 70cm extension pole to reach even higher.
It’s easy to swap heads, the MM2605 5 in 1 is comfortable using the single harness (included) and each and every tool is effective. It’s just a pity that there isn’t a built-in Thermos flask carrier. You can’t have everything, but this product does come with a two-year warranty!
