This is a great value 6 Ton electric horizontal log splitter from Handy. Featuring a powerful 2,200 Watt Motor, this splitter can handle longer logs - up to 520mm (21in) in length. with a diameter between 50 - 250mm (2 - 10in) - great for home use for those with wood burners.

The Handy THLS-6 Electric Log-Splitter exerts a merciless six-ton pressure on the subject log - even seasoned hardwoods and gnarly, knotty wood-types won't stand a chance.

It's fitted with a lengthy 1.8m mains-lead, so you'll be able to work well away from your power-source without using an extension board; and it combines large transport-wheels with a pull-handle and compact overall dimensions to ensure it will prove easy to manoeuvre and store.

A high-capacity machine, the Handy THLS-6 6-Ton Electric Log-Splitter is capable of taking logs up to 25cm in diameter and 52cm in length.

So as to prevent accidental injury, this model can only be operated with both hands.

A comfort-enhancing stand is available separately (code: THLSS-6).

The THLS-6G electric logsplitter has a large 30mm diameter hydraulic ram and convenient wheels for transportation. Included is a 1.8 Metre power cable, and to meet the latest safety standards this model is equipped with safety guards.

Requires a lot of putting together. Could be challenging but I had a friend who had already done his splitter.
