The oval profile of the aluminium pole gives precise control to the direction of the saw blade, especially important when cutting at height where it may be difficult to see the orientation of the blade. This also gives strength and rigidity to the pole reducing flex to an absolute minimum. Head fitments sold separately.

Date:30-SEP-2017	Product: Darlac Expert Giant Telescopic Pole 5m	Score:	Customer Comment: I have the somewhat flimsier lighter pole saw which wasn't up to the job of cutting a specific tree down, so upgraded to the Expert Pruner (which I couldn't purchase over the counter within 60 miles). I rate the new pole extremely highly, with the exception of the black rubberised hand grips that I found awkward as they weren't held in place and moved about during use. I unscrewed the bottom plastic plate and slid them off, which actually have me more traction when holding the pole. However, even with the new pole fully extended, it still didn't quite reach the top most sections of the tree, so I fixed the flimsier pole saw to the bottom of the expert pruner with duct tape and it worked perfectly.
